Our mission is to provide financial support and professional guidance to students from an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges or Universities).
“What is Konspicuous spelled with a K? We define Konspicuous (Kuhn-spik-yoo-uhs), and the related concept, as attracting notice or attention or boldly standing out as part of a collective”.
We will apply the concept to the collective, made-up of HBCU Students, Alumni, Schools, and Donors/Contributors, all working together towards each other's success and helping each other to "Be Konspicuous".

We have four main goals. Each one focuses on an area of the collective of HBCU students, alumni, schools, and donors, helping one another to Be Konspicuous.
Identifying students with financial needs that are attending or wish to attend an HBCU
Offering Scholarships to help ease the financial burden of students attending an HBCU
Easing the financial burden of students in college now, which helps them to prioritize alumni giving and better enable them to give back to their university.
Highlighting the ongoing success of those students as they transition to capable Alumni, reminding and encouraging them to support their schools and fellow alumni beyond graduation.
Understanding the impact of student loans on black students and disparities in funding for higher education.
Presenting HBCU students as highly qualified, competent, and capable members of society and the workforce through the Be Konspicuous Student Spotlight.
Identifying various HBCU Alumni and highlighting their story of success after college
Encouraging alumni giving & displaying generous alumni giving.
Understanding the impact of socioeconomics and student loans on HBCU Alumni affecting alumni giving.
Highlighting and celebrating the generous contributions made by HBCU Alumni
Presenting HBCU alumni as highly qualified, competent contributors to society through the Be Konspicuous Alumni Spotlight.
Identifying various HBCUs and highlighting their success stories and rich history.
Celebrating the history and traditions of HBCU schools and contributions to the world.
Recognizing the HBCU contributions to their students, communities, and society overall.
Highlighting the qualified talent pool of resources and programs at HBCUs.
Presenting HBCUs as qualified, competent, and capable institutions of higher learning through the Be Konspicuous HBCU Spotlight
Identifying contributors and donors and highlighting their philanthropy.
Engaging companies and working with them toward achieving their strategic giving.
Recognizing contributors and donors in appreciation of their support of the foundation through the Be Konspicuous Donor Spotlight.
Recognizing the philanthropy that goes above and beyond to support HBCUs through the Konspicuous Giving® News.
